[Editors note: This post is only relevant for german speaking TrailRunners] Hinweis von einem schweizer TrailRunner, Geodaten für den schweizer Raum. Links ein Beispiel in der Gegend um Bern. Interessant an dieser Geodaten-Lösung ist das Übereinanderlegen von farbkorrigierten Luftbildern mit Vektordaten. Die Komposition sieht daher wie gemalt aus. Kaum zu glauben, welche bunte Vielfalt von verschiedenen Karten-Lösungen im Internet zur Verfügung stehen.
PS: Freue mich über jede Kartenmeldung. Was bisher aufgestöbert wurde, findet man in der Bibliothek.

The NanoMaps feature is now available not only for the iPod nano but also for any kind of mobile device with a color-screen – especially for cellphones. To set the appropriate image-size the preferences for export now allow you to set the width and height for the NanoMaps. As a side effect the 320 x 240 resolution of the new big iPod is now supported too. For all who do not know the resolution of their device I started a collection for common devices like the T610 on the left. You can find the list in the Library (Bibliothek). If you did successfully export your directions onto any device that is not listed there, please leave me a note what device you are using and the resolution that fits best on its screen. In general I expect you to transfer the NanoMaps onto your cellphone using the Bluetooth File Exchange Application. Browse your device and drag the images into its pictures directory. [Editors note: This post is only relevant for german speaking TrailRunners] Frisch entdeckt, Kartenmaterial für Gesamthessen. Den GeoServer für Nordrheinwestphalen hatte ich bereits vorgestellt, hier das Äquivalent für Hessen. Inklusive Luftfotos und topographischem Material bis bestimmt 1:5.000 runter. Besser geht es gar nicht mehr. Am Bildrand steht zudem, wie vielen Metern die Bildkante in Wirklichkeit entspricht. Daher ist auch die grobe Kalibration der Karten gewährleistet. Für alle, die in Hessen wohnen und gerne im Wald unterwegs sind, ist das Kartenproblem nun gelöst. Viel Spass bei Routenlegen. Falls es für andere Gegenden Dienste dieser Art gibt, bitte mir eine Nachricht hinterlassen.
