Privacy Policy

TrailRunner Mini is built to keep your data with you. This policy explains the little I process.

1. Who is responsible

The controller is Berbie Software. Contact details are in the Imprint and via the contact form.

2. The app

• Your content stays yours. Routes, tracks, landmarks and collections are stored on your device and, if you enable it, synced between your devices through your private Apple iCloud (CloudKit). I, the developer, do not receive or store your routes.
• Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. I never see your payment details.
• Maps: map tiles and trail data are loaded from OpenStreetMap and map providers; requests for the area you view go to their servers.
• No tracking. The app contains no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. Apple provides me only aggregate, anonymous App Store analytics (unless you have opted out in iOS settings).

3. This website

• Server logs: the web host records standard request data (IP address, timestamp, browser) to operate and secure the site; kept briefly, then deleted.
• Cookies: only an essential functional cookie if needed — no third-party tracking.
• Contact form: if you write to me, I use your name, email and message only to reply.

4. Third parties

I rely on: Apple (App Store distribution, purchases, iCloud sync), OpenStreetMap and map-tile providers (map data), and my web host. I do not sell your data.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. To exercise them, contact me via the contact form.

6. Children

The app is not directed at children under 16.

7. Changes

I may update this policy; the date above shows the current version.
